THE BIG SHRINK A THEORY OF EVERYTHING BY RICHARD QUIST On the following pages I present a new approach to describing physical laws and the creation of the Universe. It is based upon an alternative interpretation of the expanding nature of the Universe. Instead of assuming that this expansion is the result of a primortal "big bang", assume instead that all entities within the Universe, including the fabric of space itself, are contracting in size. This would give the impression that the Universe is expanding, even though it remains the same size. I also then use this concept to present a possible method for describing biological and metaphysical phenomena in terms of unique mathematically defineable structures. |
